The Bode SecurSwab2 was designed specifically as a forensic swab to meet the needs of DNA collection. Each SecurSwab2 features a single sterile swab attached to an invertible plastic handle. The swab packaging is opened and the plastic handle is removed from the sterile drying capsule to expose the swab. After the sample is collected the swab is returned to the drying capsule. The drying capsule includes desicant which will rapidly dry the sample preserving the sensitive DNA. Provided as packages of 100 swabs, with or without barcodes.
